Chief of Staff
OllyGarden runs lean, with AI agents doing much of our information work. As our Chief of Staff, you will run the company’s operating system: planning, board and investor operations, finance, and the programs that keep a growing team aligned. You will report to our CEO, Juraci Paixão Kröhling, give the CEO more time for customers, product, and fundraising, and help get OllyGarden ready for its Series A. As we grow, this role can grow into leading operations and hiring that team.
What you’ll own
- Run our operating cadence: facilitate quarterly planning and OKRs, weekly leadership priorities, and mid-quarter check-ins, and close the loop when commitments slip
- Own board and investor operations: draft board decks and monthly investor updates, prepare board meetings and minutes with counsel, and keep our investor reporting on schedule
- Build Series A readiness: maintain the company metrics model, keep a current data room, and run the logistics of the raise, from the investor pipeline to diligence requests
- Own finance operations and budget tracking with our accountants: the monthly close, spend against budget, vendor and contractor payments, and the annual budget and business plan
- Run company-wide programs that have no other owner, including hiring logistics, onboarding coordination, compliance evidence cycles, and legal and administrative work for our entities
- Lead special projects for the CEO, from pricing analysis to new tooling to process design, and document the results in our handbook
- Organize team offsites and coordinate our attendance at conferences and community events
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, inbox triage, and follow-ups with help from our AI agents
Outcomes that matter
- Every quarter starts with clear priorities and OKRs, and slipped commitments surface early with an owner and a plan
- Board meetings and investor updates go out on time, with numbers the team and our investors trust
- When the Series A process starts, the metrics, data room, and materials are already in place
- Finance runs on a predictable monthly close, and spend against budget is always visible
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a chief of staff, business operations, strategy, or finance role at a venture-backed startup, ideally through a fundraise
- Fluent English and Brazilian Portuguese, required for regular communication with Portuguese-speaking customers, partners, and team members in Brazil
- Availability during Central European working hours, with some regular afternoon overlap with the Americas
- Clear, async-first writing: board updates, planning documents, and decisions people can act on without a meeting
- Comfort with spreadsheets and financial models, from a monthly close to a burn and runway forecast
- Discretion with board, investor, and personnel information
- Hands-on use of AI agents to get work done faster instead of redoing their output by hand
Bonus points
- German language skills
- Experience preparing a company for a Series A or later round
- Experience with Linear, HubSpot, and startup finance tools such as Mercury or Brex
- A background in developer tools, infrastructure, or observability companies
